Lauren Conrad to Design Emmy Awards Dress

Lauren Conrad will be designing a couture gown for one of the women that will be handing out statuettes at this years Primetime Emmy Awards. Which woman in particular is yet to be released, but Lauren has confirmed the opportunity stating:

“I am so excited that the Academy has asked me to design a dress for this year’s Emmy Awards.” Lauren continued on to say that she will be doing a red carpet look in her line’s signature style, adapting it to fit a black tie affair. Lauren was in Las Vegas this past weekend promoting the success of her clothing line aptly named “The Lauren Conrad Collection”.

True Hollywood trendsetters are going bigger and bolder, sporting outlandishly large “Oliver Peoples” eyewear. Oliver Peoples collection also contains some more conservative frames and styles, but that wouldn’t command the attention needed by stars like Angelina Jolie.

Hayden Panettiere is pretty in pink at the Teen Choice awards this year. She wore a full-length maxi dress with a monochromatic print and a very flattering shape. Hayden also spiced things up with chandelier earrings and a silver metallic clutch.

Lauren Conrad - A Dress for Every Occasion

Lauren Conrad looked radiant on the “Blue Carpet” at the Teen Choice awards. She stated that she designed the dress specifically for the awards show and it will not be a dress that is a part of her Lauren Conrad line. She also squashed all rumors that her designs were made by someone else. Lauren said she is involved in the entire process from the sketch all the way to the final approval.
